PBs for Abbie and Jess at Loughborough Open Meeting – 3rd/4th February

Some of the clubs U15 girls had a great weekend – Abbie and Jess were in action again and didn’t disappoint – in the 60m Abbie dipped under 9 seconds in the first round for a new PB and then bettered that in the final race with a new PB of 8.85s. Jess ran in the 60m hurdles and came away with a new PB of 10.44s, with Abbie following up her earlier PB with a new personal best in the hurdles of 10.66. Amber Powell ran in the 60m with a time of 8.69 after her amazing pb of 8.64 at the Northern Championships in Sheffield the day before, where she also ran in the 200m with a time of 29.67.

Anthony Humphries (U20) also ran a pb of 7.36 seconds in the 60m.  Tristrum Bolton (Sen) ran 7.62 and Lewis Da Rosa (U20) ran 7.61.

Daniel Kolodziej (U15) had a new pb in the long jump going over 5m for the first time with a 5m05 leap. Lottie Woodward (U17) jumped 4m59, Kaiden Ramsay (U20) jumped 6m55 and Lewis Da Rosa (U20) jumped 5m88.

Brian Bowley (Vet) was the only thrower in action in Loughborough and threw a seasons best of 8m07 with the 4kg shot.
