Midland Veteran’s League

The first league match of the season was held at Telford and we were able to send a really strong team and for once had favourable weather! We had a great finish to the evening having two mixed 4 x 200 metre relays, with amazing club records for both the ‘youngsters’ and also for the ‘older’ aged team where everyone was over 50. The final results saw the women 3rd and the men 5th but overall the team were third on the night.

With new and old faces in the group excitement and nerves were high and it was an amazing day, finishing 2nd overall.
