Midland Counties Indoor Track and Field Championships 20th/21st January 2024

Some of our athletes were in action at the Indoor Championships in Loughborough. 

In the 60m Tristrum Bolton (SM) ran a PB of 7.61, Katie Brant (U20) had a great run in the heats and made it through to the semi finals in 8.32. Summer Greenway (U15) made her debut for the club running 9.00 and Abigail Redpath (U15) made her 60m debut with a time of 9.03.

Abigail and Jess Golder (U15) both had great PBs in the 60m hurdles with Abigail running 11.32 and Jess 10.59.

In the field Kaiden Ramsay (U20)  took silver in the long jump 6m45. There were three further silvers for the club in the shot put, with Ben Acton (SM), Zara Acton (SW) and Isabelle Fellows (U20).

Alice Robinson (SW) who trains with the throws squad at Burton and Amber Valley for track and jumps took part in the indoor pentathlon coming away with many medals including a bronze for the shot put.
