Burton Ac 2020 EGM

Firstly id like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who attended last night’s online EGM. It was the first time we staged an online EGM of any sort and I feel this worked well.

Id like again to thank last years departing committee members, Team managers and officials . To those who have joined the committee this year and also stepped up to team manage, Thankyou. We are going through unprecedented times that we haven’t seen in many peoples lifetimes. But as a club, we will be more than fine, Our overheads are very small and we are in a strong financial position of a club our size, However its also the people at our club that make us one of the strongest in the midlands, the passion, determination and dedication is also what sets us apart.

Membership Fees –

In light of the current crises we have decided to alter to the fees to reflect the current situation. Please see fees due for the 2020 season, as you will see there are two columns, what the fees would have been and the highlighted fees , which will be due this season. These fees are based on us starting back from August.

As if in previous years, if you are a Coach, Official , Team manager , committee member or helper and are a not a competitive athlete the cost reduction can be passed onto your child or family member. If you are a family and have two paying members the third member is free.

Volunteering

We always encourage , people to step forward and offer their time and help and volunteer, we have many roles at the club from being a club coach, Becoming and official , helping out at matches etc. So please if you would like to get more involved with the club please let us know. We pay for all the coaching and officials courses so you don’t have to pay for these yourself and we also will pay for any items you will need to become a coach or official.
