Another win for Burton AC 23rd February 2024

On Friday 23rd February Chairman Jaime Walker, Club Treasurer Jackie Acton and Senior Men’s Team Manager Jon Dumelow attended the Everyone Active East Staffordshire Sports Awards where the Burton AC Senior Team were up for Senior Sports Team of the year.

In the Midlands Senior League saw the team earn the highest match points across all 6 divisions and had the highest scoring female – Alice Robinson and the highest scoring female – Jon Dumelow. The throws squad scored 94% of points available to them across the 5 matches and scored record match points for a single Burton senior men and women league season.

The team came away with the top award being crowned Senior Sports Team of the Year
