Everyone Active Club of the Month Award

On Thursday 4th September we were delighted to receive our Club of the Month Award from @everyoneactive, in recognition of the success of our track and field season.
It was a real honour to be the very first recipients of this award, which further strengthens the bond between our club and the staff at Shobnall Leisure Centre. We simply couldn’t do what we do without their continued support.
Club Treasurer, Jackie Acton, said:
“We are the oldest athletics club in the area, dating back to 1883. We welcome athletes of all abilities, as well as anyone with an interest in athletics. This is why athletes travel from across a number of counties to be coached and to be part of Burton AC.”

The success of the club is down to all our amazing volunteers!
