UK Inter Counties Championships at Wollaton Park

A history making day with 15 Burton Athletic club members running for their county in the UK inter counties championships at Wollaton park, Nottingham. This is the strongest cross country event of the year with the 8 strongest runners from each county running alopng with regional teams from Scotland, Wales and Ireland with fields of over 350. A sunny day with no mud but it was still to be a challenging course with the hills. A tough hill start up to Wollaton Hall and a left turn meant a high number pen on the right was going to be beneficial. Read the race write up on our Facebook page.
