Burton athletes scoop awards

Burton Ac Athletes and coaches attended the annual East Staffordshire Borough Council Scholarship awards at St Georges Park.

With the huge success of our young athletes in 2017 they were awarded with financial scholarships from the council , the following athletes received funding for 2018.

There was further success on the evening with Mia Sherriff scooping one of the main awards of the evening by being crowned Young Volunteer of the year. Mia has recently started coaching her own athletes and proving to be not only a fantastic athlete but a great young coach also.
